Medical Group of the Carolinas - Orthopaedic Surgery - Eastside is a comprehensive orthopaedic practice dedicated to the treatment of diseases and injuries to the shoulder, upper extremity, hand and lower extremity. We also provide complete orthopaedic diagnostic and surgical care. Our goal is to help relieve pain and preserve or restore normal function for sports, workplace and everyday injuries.
We also detect common conditions of aging and create a treatment plan to help reduce its effects. Our services include injury evaluation and treatment, fracture care, evaluation and treatment of workers’ compensation injuries, joint care for inflammation and arthritis of the upper and lower extremities.
Dr. Grady performs many specialty and subspecialty procedures including arthroscopy, joint and ligament reconstruction, total joint replacement and surgical procedures as it relates to the treatment of complex hand, upper and lower extremity injuries and problems.
Our practice is a member of the Medical Group of the Carolinas (MGC), a large multi-specialty physician group serving the Upstate. The doctors in the MGC are dedicated to meeting your healthcare needs for wellness and prevention to the diagnosis and treatment of illnesses.

If you are a new patient, please arrive 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment and, if possible, please bring your medical records. Also, please bring a list of your current medications, insurance coverage and identification.

We use electronic medical record (EMR), so your photo will be taken for your chart.

Insurance & Billing
We request payment of all office visits at the time of service. Co-pays are required for all insured patients.
If you have questions concerning fees, our office or Physicians Billing Service (864-560-4304 or 877-596-2455) will be glad to assist you.
We are participating providers for most medical insurance plans. Because there is a wide variety of insurance options, please contact either your insurance company directly or one of our patient-access representatives to ensure that our practice is a provider for your plan.
