    Important MyChart Information

Milestone Family Medicine encourages our patients to use MyChart, an online patient portal. MyChart provides you with online access to your medical record. It can help you participate in your healthcare and communicate with your providers.

From MyChart, you can manage appointments, view medical records and test results, request medication refills, pay your bill and even submit a question to your physician, all from the convenience of your personal computer or mobile device.

I already have a Bon Secours MyChart account. Can I still view my health information from Milestone Family Medicine?

For appointments scheduled February 27, 2019 and forward, you will be able to view your health information through a Spartanburg Regional MyChart account.

If you have a MyChart account established through Bon Secours, you will still be able to view your health information from previous visits and other Bon Secours providers in that account.

How can I sign up for a Spartanburg Regional MyChart account?

You must have an appointment with a Milestone provider in order to activate your account.

You will be issued a MyChart activation code during your next scheduled appointment with your provider. This code will enable you to log in and create your own username and password. If your activation code expires or you lose it, you may call 1-888-84-CHART (24278) to request one, or you may ask for another code during your next office visit.

When can I start viewing my health information from Milestone Family Medicine?

You will be able to view your Milestone Family Medicine (and Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System) medical record for appointments starting February 27, 2019 and thereafter.

Please note that your Spartanburg Regional MyChart account will only display health information that has been documented at a facility that is part of Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System (such as an MGC physician practice or one of our hospitals).

Who do I contact with questions about my Spartanburg Regional MyChart account?

You may either call the MyChart Help Desk at 1-888-84-CHART (24278), or you can send a Customer Request Message from your Spartanburg Regional MyChart account.

Can I access MyChart from my smartphone?

Yes. You can download the MyChart application for your android or apple device. Go to the app store and search for MyChart. When you download the app, select Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System from the list of organizations and log in with your MyChart username and password.

If some of my health information on MyChart is not correct, what should I do?

Your MyChart information comes directly from your electronic health record at your doctor's office. Ask your doctor to correct any inaccurate information at your next appointment. Your health information is reviewed and updated in your electronic health record each visit.

If I send a message to my doctor or nurse, when can I expect a reply?

You will generally receive an answer within 1-3 business days. Please note that MyChart should not be used for urgent situations. Please contact your physician office by phone if the situation requires immediate attention or dial 911 if there is an emergency.

I lost my activation code. Can you send me a new one?

Contact the MyChart Help Desk at 1-888-84-CHART (24278). After we verify your information, a new code will be sent via email.

My activation code does not work what should I do?

For your security, your activation code expires after two weeks. If your activation code has expired or you did not receive one to activate your account, simply click the “Sign Up Now” button on the MyChart login page. If you still have problems, call the MyChart Help Desk at 1-888-84-CHART (24278).

I forgot my password. What should I do?

Click the "Forgot password" link on the MyChart login page to reset your password online. You may also contact the MyChart Help Desk at 1-888-84-CHART (24278) for additional assistance.

Where can I update my personal information (e.g., home address, e-mail or change my password)?

Log in to MyChart and from the left menu, go to the Preferences section and select the appropriate option.

    How is MyChart secure?

We take great care to ensure your health information is kept private and secure. Access to information is controlled through secure activation codes, personal usernames, and passwords. Each person controls their password, and the account cannot be accessed without that password. Unlike conventional e-mail, all MyChart messaging is done while you are securely logged on to our website.

    What is your Privacy Policy?

MyChart is owned and operated by Epic and is fully compliant with federal and state laws pertaining to your privacy. Your name and e-mail address will be treated with the same care and privacy given your health records and will never be sold or leased by MyChart.

In order to provide the best assessment and care for your health, we generally do not diagnose or prescribe treatment by telephone.

If you or a family member experience an emergency after hours, please call 911 for assistance. If you become ill after hours but it is not a medical emergency, please call your physician’s office. Your call will automatically be routed to our answering service, which is available to assist you. Calls should only be made for health problems that cannot wait until normal business hours. It is our policy not to refill medicines or call in new prescriptions after hours.
