Spartanburg Regional Foundation Launches 2014 Grant Cycle
Spartanburg Regional Foundation is launching its 2014 grant cycle, and invites organizations to submit a letter of intent by Jan. 31 at 5 p.m.
According to Executive Director Kristy Caradori, the Foundation seeks to invest in organizations that address and improve health-related needs in Spartanburg, Cherokee and Union counties. “This spring, we will fund project-specific expenses that fit the priority of health areas within our primary geographic service area,” said Caradori. “In 2013, we funded 29 grants totaling more than $660,000 supporting organizations as they work together to bring better health care to the Upstate.”
The Spartanburg Regional Foundation does not fund endowment requests, operating expenses, on-going salary expenses, multi-year requests or recurring requests. The Foundation also does not issue grants to individuals or make loans.
While the letter of intent is non-binding, it is required for eligibility to move forward with the application process. To submit a letter of intent, please visit www.regionalfoundation.com for guidelines and requirements.
Those whose letters of intent are accepted will be invited to submit a full grant proposal by March 17. Final funding decisions will be announced on Tuesday, June 24.
