Spartanburg Regional Foundation Welcomes New Board Leaders and Members

Community members were recently elected to serve on the board of trustees and the advisory boards for the Spartanburg Regional Foundation. Board members are leaders in the Upstate with a passion for health and a commitment to care at Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System.

“The trustees and advisory board members are crucial to the success of the foundation. They work tirelessly to support the availability and accessibility of the highest quality health care for all residents. We could not accomplish our work without their leadership and support,” said Kristy Caradori, Foundation Executive Director.

Foundation board members meet quarterly to oversee the work of the foundation and the advisory divisions which include cancer, heart and hospice. Many board members also hold volunteer and board positions in other organizations throughout the community.  Jamie Hodge, the incoming trustee chair, has an ongoing commitment to partnerships. He recently stated, “The Spartanburg Regional Foundation awards more than $600,000 annually during the grants cycle, including funds for area nonprofits. We are an active member of the Spartanburg Joint Funders group, and we work hard to be a resource and partner in promoting the health of our community.”
