Medical Group of the Carolinas (MGC), Spartanburg Regional Healthcare System’s physician group, has opened a new practice in Greenville County. The new practice, MGC—Family Medicine—Mountain Park, located in Travelers Rest, opened in October and is accepting new patients. Please call 864-849-9210 to schedule an appointment.
This new practice office is located at 135 Botanical Circle, Travelers Rest, SC, 29690, where Lauren Howard, PA, and Wayne Davis, Jr., MD, will care for patients. The office is conveniently located off of Cherokee Foothills Scenic Highway 11 at Mountain Park Village.
Wayne Davis, Jr., MD — Wayne Davis, Jr., MD, received his medical degree from the American University of the Caribbean School of Medicine in Coral Gables, FL. He completed his family medicine residency at Greenville Health System in Greenville, SC. Dr. Davis is a professor at the Edward Via College of Osteopathic Medicine—Carolinas in Spartanburg. He is a member of the American Academy of Family Physicians and the Student National Minority Association. Dr. Davis is also a member of the Christian Medical and Dental Association.
Lauren Howard, PA — Lauren Howard, PA, received her Masters of Medical Science from the Methodist University in Fayetteville, NC. She is board certified by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants and is licensed by the South Carolina Medical Board. She is a member of the North Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, South Carolina Academy of Physician Assistants, American Academy of Physician Assistants and Fellowship of Christian Physician Assistants. She joined Medical Group of the Carolinas in 2013.
